Cardiff Blues is thrilled to confirm it is hosting a special event later this month - A Testimonial Dinner for front row legend Taufa'ao Filise.
Filise has been the cornerstone of the pack at Cardiff Blues over the last decade. The giant Tongan international arrived in 2006 and has gone on to make over 210 appearances.
No other player has been a double centurion for Cardiff Blues and it is a record unlikely to ever be beaten.
On the field Taufa’ao Filise has always been a fearsome competitor. Away from the action, a softly spoken family man who is admired by his peers for his professionalism and durability. He has become the ultimate role model for the young players coming through our system.
We are determined to now celebrate his incredible decade of fantastic service by hosting this intimate dinner on Thursday, April 21 at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
The event will see Filise joined by past and present Cardiff Blues legends in Martyn Williams, Xavier Rush, Sam Warburton and more.
Guests at the event – that starts at 7.30pm - will enjoy a welcome drink and fabulous three course meal. Places at the dinner are £75&VAT per person.
