Cardiff Rugby are calling on staff, supporters and sponsors to join the club in collecting for Foodbanks across the region in the build up to Christmas
In partnership with Smiths of Gloucester and Dragons Signs, a collection bin for food and essential items has been installed at the Arms Park.
Volunteers from Cardiff Foodbank will also be in attendance at the ground for the upcoming fixtures against Ulster (Dec 13) and Scarlets (Dec 19).
Donations can be made during operational hours throughout the week at Cardiff Arms Park from Monday, December 8 until December 19.

Cardiff Rugby Head of Marketing and Communications, Mike Brown, said: “We’re really pleased to support foodbanks across our region again this festive season.
“The build up to Christmas is always an incredibly busy, but rewarding, time of year for all of us at the club. We see the brilliant work of our foundation on a daily basis but wanted to do more collectively at what should be a special time of year for everybody.
“Rather than waste money on unwanted Secret Santa gifts, we wanted to do something more meaningful, and it has grown year on year.
“To have Cardiff Foodbank attending our fixtures is fantastic and we remain committed to ensuring donations are made to foodbanks across the region.
“This is just one of many initiatives we run over Christmas and we are very grateful to Dragon Signs and Smiths for their support.”
With 10 years of social reform, austerity and continued cuts to statutory services, the need for a food banks in Cardiff has more than doubled and continues to grow at an unprecedented rate.
Cardiff Foodbank provide 3-day emergency food and essential parcels to people in need in the capital, working with 190+ agencies and charities.
The club, who will once again be encouraging collections across the company and our sponsors, will also provide essential packages to foodbanks across all unitary authorities within the region.
