With the new season fast approaching, Cardiff Rugby are pleased to confirm the opening two fixtures of the 2026/27 BKT United Rugby Championship campaign.
While the current URC Play-Offs are in full flow, with the Blue and Blacks heading to Cape Town to face the Stormers for a place in the Semi-Finals next Saturday, supporters can now start planning for the return of competitive action next season, beginning with an away trip to Llanelli to face the Scarlets.
That fixture will also mark the opening match of our 150th year celebrations, taking place on Saturday 26 September at Parc y Scarlets, with kick-off at 19:45.
This will be followed by the first home fixture of the new campaign, as Cardiff welcome Zebre Parma to Cardiff Arms Park under the Friday night lights on October 2nd, also kicking off at 19:45.
The 2026/27 season is officially on its way, with anticipation building ahead of the full fixture release for the BKT United Rugby Championship, which will be confirmed at 12pm tomorrow.
Further updates will be shared across Cardiff Rugby channels following the full announcement.
