Cardiff Rugby is delighted to welcome Amber as the club’s newest partner.
The Cardiff-based energy consultancy works with clients across sport, manufacturing, hospitality, and property nationwide. They have already supported Cardiff Rugby by securing a new energy deal, helping the club to reduce costs, cut its carbon footprint, and achieve operational goals.
Sustainability is a central focus for Cardiff Rugby. The club’s journey towards Net Zero is being led by Principal Partner, RSK, a global leader in engineering and environmental consultancy. RSK’s commitment is not only shaping the club’s sustainability strategy but is also paving the way for like-minded partners such as Amber to join the journey. Together, these partnerships form a powerful network driving meaningful change on and off the pitch, with Cardiff Rugby proud to stand alongside RSK and Amber in this collective effort.
Jack Butler, Commercial Director at Cardiff Rugby, said:
“We’re really excited to be working with Amber. Sustainability is a key priority for us as a club, and our Principal Partnership with RSK continues to champion our drive for Net Zero and has laid the groundwork for meaningful progress. Their leadership has helped attract partners like Amber, whose support in brokering our new energy deal has already delivered real value. We’re hugely grateful for their expertise, and together we are taking important steps towards reducing our environmental impact. We’re excited to see the positive changes this collaboration will bring.”
Based at Central Square, Amber was founded on the belief that the energy industry needed to change. The company prides itself on simplicity, honesty, and transparency—values that align strongly with Cardiff Rugby’s culture and community focus.
Huw Mitchell, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Amber, added:
“We’re thrilled to partner with Cardiff Rugby and to play a role in supporting their journey towards Net Zero. As a business rooted in Cardiff, it’s a privilege to work with a club at the heart of the city, and we can’t wait to cheer them on throughout the season.”
