Cardiff Rugby is delighted to welcome Amber as the club’s new official Energy Management Partner.
The deal marks the beginning of an exciting collaboration with the Cardiff-based Net Zero and Energy Consultancy, who work with clients in sport, manufacturing, hospitality and property across the UK.
As part of the partnership, Amber will help Cardiff Rugby develop and deliver their Net Zero Roadmap, taking meaningful steps toward reducing the club’s environmental impact.
Sustainability is a key focus for Cardiff Rugby and this is the latest in a long line of environmentally conscious partnerships, following the likes of RSK, Smiths and Steelphalt.
Having a local partner with national expertise also offers a significant advantage as the club works to build a greener future on and off the pitch.
Cardiff Rugby’s Head of Partnerships, Bethany Cook said:
“We’re really excited to be working with Amber on this initiative. Sustainability is a key focus for us as a club, and this partnership allows us to take meaningful steps toward reducing our environmental impact. Having a local partner with national expertise is a huge asset, and we’re excited to see the positive changes this collaboration will bring.”
Amber, who are based at Central Square, was born from the belief that the energy industry needed to change.
They pride themselves on simplicity, honesty and transparency, which fully align with the club and share the same passion for community.
Huw Mitchell, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Amber, added:
“We’re thrilled to partner with Cardiff Rugby and to play a role in supporting their journey towards Net Zero. As a business rooted in Cardiff, it’s a privilege to work so closely with a club at the heart of the city, and we can’t wait to cheer them on throughout the season.”
