Cardiff Blues South play their first championship match since October 19th against the table topping Ospreys tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at Corus RFC, 7:15 PM kick-off.
The Blues youngsters have worked extremely hard under coaches Mark Wysocki and Lee Grant over the lengthy break from competition. Conditioning coach Adrian Evans has reported great gains in the overall fitness of the squad and is hoping that this will be evident during Wednesdays tough encounter.
The Blues have played two friendly matches against regional rivals Blues North (12-12) and ran out comfortable winners over Berkshire County on Saturday by almost a hundred points.
Regional Performance Manager Gafyn Cooper said the boys cant wait to play and put in a solid team performance. It wont be easy against the Ospreys but if our platform is right we have the backs to create and finish plays so its vital that the forwards get the better of the opposition.
