Cardiff Blues Former Players Association's Golf Trip to Spain!

5th November 2018

The newly-founded Cardiff Blues Former Players Association are offering you the opportunity to jet off for an unbelievable golf trip to Palma, Spain, brushing shoulders with some of your favourite Cardiff Blues legends.

The four day trip - from 13 June to 16 June - is open to all, playing in teams of three, competing alongside former and current Cardiff Blues players.

Flights are not included in the package, but there are departures from Bristol, London and Birmingham on 13 June, therefore make sure you snap up your flights before it’s too late!

Interest is already high ahead of the trip, so make sure you confirm your space by the end of play Thursday to avoid disappointment.

Funds raised from the golf trip, and other Cardiff Blues Former Players Association events, will be donated to the Cardiff Blues Community Foundation, which aims to use the power and values of sport to inspire, engage and improve opportunities for all people within our community.

The package for a team of three, priced at £3,400 (inc. VAT) will include:

• Private airport transfers between Palma Airport and the resort.
• Double room with breakfast.
• Twin room with breakfast.
• Two rounds of golf at Son Quint and Son Muntaner with a former/present Cardiff Blues star.
• Three dinners, to be held on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights - with drinks included.
• Drinks reception each night
• Company logo on the official media board.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase an additional single room and hire buggies for the golf days.

The welcome dinner is set to start at 7.00pm on the Thursday, and this would need to be taken into consideration when booking your travel arrangements.

The Cardiff Blues Former Players Association’s board includes former Wales centre, Tom Shanklin, and former scrum-half Andy Booth.

More information about the CBFPA will be released in due course.
