Cardiff Arms Park supporter information

Tickets & Travel | 10th September 2021

It has been 565 long days since we last welcomed supporters to Cardiff Arms Park for a home game and we cannot wait to be reunited with our Cardiff Rugby family as we take on Bath Rugby in our final pre-season friendly.

A lot has changed in the last 18 months and you will notice a number of changes around the ground designed to mitigate the risk of Covid-19 and keep you safe.

We are still in the process of fully transferring from Cardiff Blues to Cardiff Rugby and while you might spot the odd old logo, we hope to complete the transformation before our URC opener against Connacht.

We have also been hit by the staff shortages affecting the hospitality industry nationwide and are unable to operate all of our facilities as usual and ask that you are considerate of these issues and respect our workforce at all times.

With that all in mind, we still hope you have a fantastic time at our iconic home and we will be thrilled to see you back alongside us.

The Cardiff Rugby choir will be performing after gates open and we will have a number of giveaways from our promotional staff.

Our new range of 2021-22 kit will also be available both at the Westgate Street store and from our Cardiff Arms Park shop.

Tickets:

We encourage supporters to purchase in advance online to avoid queuing on match day at the ticket office. We will also be encouraging spectators to use our digital ticketing service to minimise contact. Tickets can still be purchased here.

Gates open:

Gates open 1.5 hours before kick-off.  We ask that supporters do not bring bags unless absolutely necessary. If you do bring a bag, it will be searched - please see our ground regulations for list of prohibited items.

Face Coverings:

We advise that face coverings should be worn at all times where possible.

Face coverings are still a legal requirement in Wales for indoor events but not outdoor. Although our events are predominantly outdoor event, masks should be worn in all indoor spaces including but not limited to:

  • All toilets
  • All indoor bar facilities
  • Fanzone
  • Cardiff Rugby reception and Ticket Office
  • Principality Stadium Concourse.

We also advise that all spectators wear face coverings when queuing for bars, catering units and toilets, or in any crowded spaces.

Hospitality guests should wear a face mask when entering the relevant hospitality building until they arrive at their table or suite.

This applies to everyone aged 11+, unless they are exempt (proof of exemption is required). Staff will be wearing face coverings.

Social Distancing:

We ask that everyone to remain considerate of each other and to use common sense to space out queues for concession stands and toilets.

Enhanced cleaning:

To keep everyone safe, we have enhanced cleaning schedules before every game and regularly disinfecting Cardiff Arms Park high touch points including all of our toilets, banisters and doors.

Card payments:

All of our concession stands, and bars can take contactless payment.

Hand Sanitiser:

Hand sanitising stations will be dotted throughout Cardiff Arms Park. We also suggest you carry a small hand sanitiser with you if possible.

Programmes:

We will not have any programmes available for this fixture.

Staff:

All of our staff and volunteers will be wearing face coverings.  We hope spectators respect them for working under these conditions and for enforcing the rules outlined above.

Pitch Access:

The pitch is in the redzone area throughout so unfortunately there will be no pitch access for spectators post-match
