Caple captains Cardiff U18 in RGC opener

Luke Caple will captain Cardiff as they kick-off their Under-18s Regional Age-Grade Championship away to RGC 1404 on Sunday (14:30).
The young Blue and Blacks warmed up for the Championships with a beneficial encounter against a Regional Select XV ahead of Christmas, and now travel north to Parc Eirias.
Caple is one of three players from Cardiff and Vale College included in the squad, which includes representation from ten different schools and colleges across the pathway and 15 different clubs.
There are also five young stars from the Glantaf side, which reached the WRU Schools and Colleges final.
The Under-18s have provided a clear pathway into the senior squad in recent seasons with breakthrough stars Lucas De La Rua, Mackenzie Martin, Mason Grady and Cam Winnett all graduating in the last four years.
