Blues help launch Bytesize Science shows

18th July 2014

Hooker Kristian Dacey and Performance Analyst Jarrad Griffiths helped kick-off the summer holidays for children at Techniquest in Cardiff when they helped launch the Bytesize Science show.

Dacey and Griffiths, plus Rhys Priestland from Scarlets, were special guests on Thursday morning at the launch of Bytesize Science, a great new show for the summer holidays and sponsored by BT.

Bytesize Science allows children to discover lots about science at Techniquest between July 19 and August 31.

From the products we use, to the entertainment we download, computers help us in many different ways. Bytesize Science shows how computers follow our instructions, how secrets can be stored or stolen, and how something as thin as a human hair can carry your favourite films, songs or even connect you to your relatives in Australia

Children can also try their hand at programming a simple LEGO® robot or visit shows in Wales’ only digital Planetarium, where you can experience the stars as never before and 120 hands-on exhibits to be pushed, pulled and prodded.

Techniquest is open throughout the summer holidays from 10am-5pm. Visit www.techniquest.org for more information.
