Blues Enjoy Children's Festival

6th July 2004

The two-day Tesco Children's Festival at Coopers Field produced some fantastic entertainment as Cardiff Blues and Capital Rugby teamed up to provide a host of family fun.

Capital Rugby coaches, Howard Stone, Gruff Rees, Julian McTavish and John Huw Williams were the first to get the hundreds of children that visited the Sport.Cardiff arena involved in games of TAG rugby. Plus team mascot Bruiser was on hand to keep all the children refreshed with his supplies of Brecon Carreg water.

First team stars of Cardiff Blues joined in the fun to complete the children's day, as the kicking competition got in to full swing.

New Blues' signing Robert Sidoli said, "It's been a really good day. I think all the children have really enjoyed it and some of them have had nearly as much fun as me. Its a shame the two days have finished but at least there is next weekend's fun day at the Arms Park to look forward too."

There were all sorts of games for the children to enjoy with an inflatable maze, bouncy castle, assault courses, moonwalk dome, climbing wall, crazy golf and much more.
