The junior fancy dress Hallowe’en party at the Arms Park was a great success as approximately fifty witches, ghosts, ghouls and even an Elvis or two were joined by Cardiff Blues stars for the annual celebrations.

The Top Lounge bar of the clubhouse was decorated with bats, skeletons and some of the largest pumpkins ever seen. Our resident family lounge organisers, Doug and Martin Baker, arranged activities for the youngsters and the players for the evening’s entertainment.

The prizes, donated by Ster Century Cinema, Millennium Plaza, for best fancy dress went to Ellie Lloyd Jones, Bethan Follis and Harriet Miller (shown in picture left). Perhaps the highlight of the evening’s action was the competition for the player’s to pass the ball through the hoop. From a standing position, Nick Macleod recorded the best accuracy in a sudden death shoot off against Richard Smith and Cardiff RFC young gun Marcus Leach. Former dead-eye Dan McShane missed all his chances to finish last.

There were two winning teams of juniors, but everyone who came received prizes for either the club shop or a FREE family day at David Lloyd Leisure.

To enhance your match day experience, visit the family lounge this Friday, for the usual mix of fun and entertainment. Future junior activities will be announced soon.
