The Blues started the game well and good build up play lead to a penalty that Sweeney converted soon equalised by Gregor after Blues were caught offside.

The Blues were moving well into the Glasgow twenty two and again awarded penalty but this time they opted to go for the line out. The ball was won cleanly and Rush carried well to within yards of the try line. Slater shipped the ball to Sweeney who put in a well timed pass for Dan Fish to score in corner.

From the restart Glasgow attacked and some slack tackling allowed them to within a yard of the Blues try line. They eventually got a penalty that Gregor again converted before Sweeny got one back for the Blues.

A good passage of play saw the Blues steadily pick and go and drive into the Glasgow twenty two. Again a penalty was awarded that Sweeney converted for offside.

The Blues next try came for a great offload by Paterson, following some rampaging runs by Filise and Pretorius, who put Sweeney into space. He did well to shake off tacklers and score before converting his try.

The Blues came close to scoring again when they broke from their own half. Dan Fish kicked ahead and gathered and nearly put Czekaj in the corner. It was a heated encounter and Ben White was tackling everything in site after he came on from the bench.

A lovely break by Czekaj, swerving in and out of defenders gained ground, before putting Paterson in to score, following quick penalty by Slater.

The bonus point came when Richard Mustoe broke from his own half, shaking off tacklers to score, with Sweeney converting the last kick of the match.
