Matthew Morgan signed for Cardiff ahead of the 2016-17.
The utility back came through the Ospreys youth set-up, making 66 appearances for his home region, while also representing Swansea and Bridgend in the Principality Premiership.
Morgan made his international debut for Wales during the 2014 summer tour to South Africa, and would also represent Warren Gatland’s side in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
After a two-year stint with Bristol Rugby in the English Championship - where he was named the league’s Player of the Season in his debut campaign - Morgan moved back to Wales, joining Cardiff in 2016, making his debut in the season opener against Edinburgh.
Since then, he has made over 100 appearance for the capital city club, providing plenty of moments for the highlighy reel.
Perhaps his stand-out moment came back in 2018, as the full back scored a sensational solo effort against defending European champions, Saracens, at Allianz Park.
