Josh Turnbull spent seven years at his home region, Scarlets, before switching to Cardiff Blues in 2014, after more than 100 of appearances for the Llanelli-based region.
The utility forward has been a dependable and consistent performer for Wales’ Capital Region, but in 2016, Turnbull suffered a back injury which kept him out of the rest of the campaign.
The Haverfordwest-born forward, and former Cardiff Player of the Year, made his senior international debut in the 2011 Six Nations clash against Scotland and has been in and out of the international camp ever since.
The forward was named club captain at Cardiff in 2021, rewarded for his consistency for the Blue and Blacks and is also amongst the league's top appearance makers.
