Corporate | 22nd September 2022

Cardiff Rugby are thrilled to reveal PureCyber as a new Official Kit Partner for the 2022-23 season.

The Cardiff-based cyber security company have enjoyed exponential growth since they were founded as Wolfberry in 2011, and recently underwent a full corporate rebrand.

They have also opened new offices at One Central Square and picked up numerous industry awards including Most Innovative Cyber Security Company in the UK and also Best International Cyber Security Consultancy Firm in the UK.

PureCyber’s goal is to make cyber security accessible, affordable and understandable to all businesses regardless of their size or industry.

As part of their continued development and expansion, PureCyber have joined forces with Wales’ capital city club to aid their brand awareness strategy.

PureCyber CEO, Damon Rands, said: “We have a huge passion and long association with Welsh rugby and it was a no brainer to partner with Cardiff as such a world-renowned brand.

“We share similar cultural values, ambitions and goals to compete at the top of our respective industries and believe we can help each other to maximise potential.

“To see the new PureCyber logo on the right shoulder of Cardiff’s famous Blue and Black jersey is brilliant. Playing in Europe and the URC it is seen across the world and we are looking forward to building a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

PureCyber are the first of several major businesses who have either signed new or extended existing partnerships in recent weeks and join the likes of Principal Partners MSS Group and the likes of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Land Rover and Uber Eats, all FTSE 100 companies, on the Cardiff kit.

Gavin Vaughan-Evans, Cardiff Rugby's commercial manager, welcomed PureCyber to the iconic Arms Park and hopes the new kit partnership will be the beginning of a robust, long-term relationship.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome PureCyber on board for the season ahead and it was great to see their branding on the first team jerseys, and around the stadium, as we kicked-off with a fantastic victory over Munster.

“To partner with such a well-renowned and rapidly expanding company is brilliant for us and not only demonstrates our brand alignment but the opportunities we can offer in terms of exposure and awareness.

“We are very grateful to everyone at PureCyber for their support and hope we can both play a part in the fulfilment of both business’s continued potential.”
