Cardiff Blues Premiership Select will warm up for the new British & Irish Cup season with a friendly fixture against Ospreys Premiership Select at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Wednesday (November 4, kick-off 7.15pm).
Welsh teams in the British & Irish Cup will be represented by combined Regional Premiership squad teams for the first time this season following a wide-ranging review of competition structures across the game in Wales.
The Cardiff Blues Premiership Select team has been drawn in Pool 4 this season against Nottingham Rugby, London Welsh and Cornish Pirates.
Preparations for the new season will now kick-off at the start of November with a friendly fixture against the Ospreys Premiership Select at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
Fans are encouraged to come and support the two teams and advised that entry to the game will be with a donation to #StayStrongForOws and #TeamLochie.
