The Blues kick off their campaign with a home match against the team from the Scottish capital on Saturday, 5.45pm kick off.
Having recorded a bonus point win of 34 points to 23 over Edinburgh in the opening round of the Magners League, the Blues will hope for more of the same this Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the match Cardiff Blues Director of Rugby, David Young said,
"Despite our win in September, I'm sure Edinburgh will come to Cardiff feeling quite confident."
"I think we've only beaten them twice of seven outings in the last couple of seasons so they have always been quite successful against us."
"In fairness to them they are a quality team and they always cause us problems."
"Although it was a bonus point win for us they blew a lot of opportunities. If they can nail those opportunities then they will be in with a shout."
"However, I feel if we can bring our best game to the table they will struggle with our physicality."
*The Cardiff Blues Bus for the Edinburgh game will pick up from Wood Street only due to road closures. The buses will therefore start from Wood Street Stop JS (in front of Cardiff Central Train Station) at 4.10pm. The shuttle bus goes every 10 minutes to and from the stadium. The shuttle bus service is free for season ticket holders and costs only £2.00 for non season ticket holders.
