Jamie Hill represented Cardiff Rugby at age grade level and, after impressing for both Pontypridd and University of South Wales, was signed to the club's academy.
A former Wales under-20 international, Hill featured regularly at A team level before finally making his senior debut during the 2020/21 campaign, coming off the bench against Munster at Thomond Park.
The scrum half, a grandson of former Cardiff full back Ronald Hill, would go on to make a total of nine appearances across his debut campaign, impressing as part of a competitive number nine division at the Arms Park.
