Hallam Amos

Hallam Amos arrived at Cardiff Arms Park in the summer of 2019, following eight seasons at the Dragons. He made 115 appearances during that time, scoring 36 tries and captaining the Newport-based region on numerous occasions.

Amos represented Wales through the age-grades and made his Test debut against Tonga, going on to represent Wales at the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and 2019.

The medical student made the move to Wales’ Capital Region in order to take his game to the next level. He has the ability to play right across the three-quarter line but specialises in the back three, where he brings real strength in depth.

The two-time Six Nations winner also represented Wales at Rugby Sevens in the Commonwealth Games and is in an elite club of Welsh players who have scored tries against New Zealand, Argentina, Australia and South Africa.

In October 2021, the full back announced that he would be retiring at the end of the 2021/22 campaign to focus on his medicine career.

Amos determined to finish on a high
