8th June 2018

Cardiff Blues' Blaine Scully has been named captain of USA for their clash against Russia at Denver on Saturday.

The Arms Park favourite, who scored a decisive try in the Challenge Cup final, leads his side at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, as new head coach Gary Gold looks to build momentum ahead of next year's Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Former Cardiff Blues forward, Cam Dolan, now of San Diego Legion, is also included and will start at number eight.

The Eagles have secured seven victories in their last eight games, which included a perfect campaign in the Americas Rugby Championship, where they clinched silverware.
