Dai Young’s Rugby Summary:

  • Pre-season: What we concentrated on – Clarity, Intensity, Collisions, Culture

  • 22/23 block one review – 3 victories, 2 defeats

  • Implications of the on-going WRU and PRB funding negotiations on future squad

    recruitment/retention and staffing

 

 

Richard Holland’s Executive Summary:

  • Disciplinary process and outcome

  • Pentwyn and CAP updates

  • Latest WRU/PRB funding proposal discussion

 

 

Owen Davies’ Finance Summary:

  • Current cashflow position

  • Still awaiting discussions between WRU and PRB to conclude to establish Cardiff

    Rugby’s cash position moving forward

     

 

Rhys Blumberg’s COO’s Summary:

  • Commercial team now at full strength with Ryan Thomas joining as Business

    Development Manager

  • Notable commercial agreements – LCB Construction and Beton Bauen’s stand

    sponsorships

  • Lucie Johnson has joined as Marketing Manager

  • Rachel Crowle resigned as Marketing Executive, recruitment process is underway

  • Season membership sales have now slowed as expected but with a healthy retention

    rate. A festive ticket bundle will be launched instead of half season memberships

  • CAP will be the official Guinness Fanzone for the 2022 Autumn Internationals and

    2023 Six Nations

  • Design and sponsorship work continues for the 2023/24 kits

 

 

Nadine Griffiths’ Foundation Summary:

  • A Summer schedule of 72 events engaged over 38,000 people

  • Commercial, grants and fundraising update, including new commercial agreements

    secured with Hugh James and Churngold

  • Delivery and engagement overview with Officers now back in schools and clubs

     

 

Supporters:

• Supporter Advisor KPIs discussed and approved
